Would this make more sense as a category instead? That way the graduation year would be controlled from within each person's article. --Nonsensical 21:28, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

I think it might. It should also be structured so that there's a metacategory by year for each school. So, for example, there would be a category for "Columbia College Class of 2007" which would, in turn, be placed in a "2007 graduates" category and a "Columbia College alumni" category(this would even eliminate the necessity of switching each class over from "students" to "alumni"; only the categories would have to be renamed).
