The Professor Willis L.M. Reese Award for Excellence in Teaching is awarded annually to a full-time member of the Law School faculty who demonstrates the commitment to teaching that Professor Willis Reese exemplified. The graduating JD and LLM classes nominate each year's recipient in a selection process overseen by a committee made up of the Law School's Dean of Students, past recipients of the Willis Reese Prize, students on the Graduation Committee, and the Dean of the Law School. All full-time faculty, with the exception of the award winners for the previous three years, are eligible for the prize.
