Samuel Freedman is a professor at the Journalism School known for his extremely demanding, six-credit book seminar. More recently, he has been (in)famous for failing and preventing the graduation of a student who believed Freedman had agreed to let her incorporate her seminar project into her Masters thesis.[1]
