Grades

Grades are what most Columbia students spend most of their time thinking about.

Possible grades include:

• A+, A, A-... good performance
• B+, B, B-... satisfactory
• C+, C, C-... poor, effectively a failure (see also Gentleman's C)
• D
• F, Fail
• UW, Unofficial Withdrawal
• W, Withdrawal
• R, Registration credit
