Pinnacle
Pinnacle, officially Pinnacle Gourmet, was a snacks place on Broadway at 115th St.
Pinnacle served pizza, sandwiches, bagels, etc. Most items are cheap, and many are greasy. Pinnacle's biggest draws were probably its ultra-convenient location and the fact it's more or less always open.
During the subway strike of 2005 Pinnacle's owners forced its outer borough-dwelling employees to sleep in the store, lest they fail to show up the next day.
In 2010 on the heals of a forced closure by the health department, Pinnacle became Uni Cafe. Aside from the decorations (and hopefully the hygiene), little has changed.
