600 W. 125th Street is a new 34 story tower built for graduate students and faculty at the intersection of 125th Street and Broadway, part of Manhattanville campus development, and designed by the same firm as the rest of the Manhattanville project: Renzo Piano's. It has classic New York taper proportions, but a kind of ugly lack of windows on the south facade facing downtown. The ground floor will eventually be occupied by a much more pedestrian-oriented version of the suburban drive-in style McDonald's it replaced.
