Fairway
Fairway is, like it's motto says, "like no other." Excellent mega-grocery store located in Manhattanville at 12th Avenue and 132nd Street. They have almost everything including great produce and an extensive cheese selection. But the piece de resistance is the 10,000 square foot 'cold room' where the meat, fish and dairy is stored. They provide jackets for you to put on when entering the room.
The only negative about Fairway is it's relative distance from campus. If you must take a car, it's usually pretty easy to find a livery vans shuttle and your back home.
Barnard offers it's students a weekly shuttle.
Fairway has additional locations, including one on Broadway between 75th and 74th street.
