Wayne Allyn Root
Wayne Allen Root (a.k.a. W.A.R.) CC '83 is a millionaire businessman in Las Vegas. He is currently the Libertarian nominee for the 2008 Presidential election race.
The fact that he and Barack Obama are in the race together means 2998 is the first year in which two college classmates have participated in the same presidential election contest.
He has written a book, cleverly entitled Millionaire Republicans: Why Rich Republicans Get Rich, and will appear in a TV reality series, "Root for America", covering his candidacy.
