Stephen Jay Gould
Stephen Jay Gould, '67, was the author of The Mismeasure of Man, a controversial critique of IQ testing. He was a graduate student at Columbia, completing his work under the guidance of Norman Newell. Upon graduation, he promptly accepted a position at Harvard.
