The Society of Fellows in the Humanities is the oldest postdoctoral fellowship programs in the country. The program offers one year fellowships, renewable for up to two more years, offering a stipend and a warm home to wayward PhD holders in exchange for the teaching of an undergraduate course.

Founded in the 1970s and housed in the Heyman Center since the 1980's, the society organizes a number of events, including a lunchtime lecture series every semester. Everyone loves free food, but are you willing to trek over to East Campus for it?
