The Eye

The Eye is the latest in a long line of Spec weekly magazine inserts. So-named for urbanologist Jane Jacobs' term "eyes on the street," as it supposedly ties together "Columbia and the City".

Founded in 2006 by Tim Shenk, Julia Israel, and others, it has published many controversially reported articles and highly criticized humor pieces since its inception.
