De Bary Report

The Report of the Commission on the Core Curriculum, better known as the de Bary Report, was a study of the Core Curriculum issued in 1988. It's major legacy was a proposal for the establishment of an 'Extended Core'. A reduced version of this would become the Major Cultures requirement of present day.

The Report is named for its author, William Theodore de Bary.
