Cayle Ryan Pietras CC '09 is a Film Studies and Social Anthropology major. During his time at Columbia, he is noted for having worked on the Varsity Show, Columbia's oldest performing arts tradition, from its 110th incarnation until its 116th, having served as Artistic Director on the creative team for his last two years.

In the professional world, he is best known for his short documentary film, THROUPLE, (http://www.facebook.com/v/652192389062) which portrays an interview with three gay men sharing a threesome relationship in New York City. It rose to internet fame in 2009 after Queerty.com published a short article on the piece, sending commenters into a fury over the dynamics of the relationship.

In 2006, he edited the WestEnd Records music video for the lead single, "All Over Your Face" by gay rapper Cazwell, which was later banned from LOGO due to explicit lyrics and sexual imagery portrayed in the video directed by Francis Legge. It became the second most-watched youtube video in its first week on the site.
