Daniel Shapiro

Daniel Shapiro CC '07 is the son of poet and '68 protester David Shapiro. Shapiro, a pre-medical Art History graduate, was the first Columbia College student to be awarded three writing prizes by the English Department in an academic year, including the Academy of American Poets Poetry Prize and the Lea Bachler Prize.
