Robert Leo "Bob" Sheppard (1910-2010) MA(?) '33 is the public announcer for the New York Yankees. In his 58-year career, he witnessed in person 22 of the Yankees' 26 World Series wins. His announcing is so closely associated with the baseball club that he has earned the nickname "The Voice of the Yankees." Sheppard received a master's degree in speech from Columbia in 1933.
