Earth and Environmental Engineering Department

The Earth and Environmental Engineering (EEE) Department is the newest department in SEAS, founded in 2003. The department continues the legacy of the Henry Krumb School of Mines, which was originally part of the School of Mines (which, in turn, would later become the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science).

Degrees Offered

  • B.S. in Environmental Engineering
  • M.S. in Earth Resources Engineering
  • Met.E. - a professional degree in Metallurgical Engineering
  • E.M. - Engineer of Mines
  • Eng.Sc.D. - Doctor of Engineering Science in Environmental Engineering
  • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (administered by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences)
