Student groups
Columbia has a diverse range of student groups, including fraternities, sororities, club sports, and student government organizations. The majority of groups are recognized and organized under six governing boards.
Governing boards
The six governing boards that oversee undergraduate organizations are, from largest to smallest:
- Activities Board at Columbia ABC
- Student Governing Board SGB
- Club Sports
- InterGreek Council IGC
- Community Impact CI
- Interschool Governing Board IGB
Barnard's student council, the Student Government Association (SGA) also individually recognizes many clubs at Barnard or in conjunction with ABC.
Additionally, Columbia Athletics oversees the varsity sports.
