Jonathan Schiller, CC'69 and LAW '73, is the Co-Chair of Columbia's Board of Trustees, serving alongside Bill Campbell. When Campbell retires, Schiller will retain sole possession of the chairmanship.
Schiller is the co-founder and a managing partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, a top law firm. He is one of the country’s most well-known and respected lawyers, and represented Al Gore in Bush v. Gore. Schiller was a member of Columbia's basketball team during his time at the school. The chairmanship is thus well-positioned to remain in the hands of a strong advocate for athletics at the University.
