Robert Kraft

Robert K. Kraft, CC '63, started the Kraft Group (not Kraft Foods), a diversified holdings company. He also owns the many time Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots. He is a Boston-area native.

He is a large donor to Columbia, and supplied the money to build the Kraft Center, which houses Hillel. In 2005, he spoke at CC's Class Day.

In 2007 Kraft aided the kick-off of the Columbia Campaign for Athletics with a $5 million donation.[1][2] In his honor, the University renamed the field at Wien Stadium Robert K. Kraft Field.

Kraft won a John Jay Award in 1987, later won an Alexander Hamilton Medal, and is a known member of the Senior Society of Sachems.
