The School of the Arts is Columbia's fine arts school. It was founded in 1965 and is housed in Dodge Hall with additional studio space in Prentis Hall on 125th street. The school is slated to be among the first to move to new quarters during the Manhattanville expansion. The school offers MFA degrees in it's four divisions- Writing, Visual Arts, Theatre, and Film.
