David Charlow
Allegedly corrupt financial aid director at Columbia University. Charlow owns shares in a company called Education Lending Group. The group runs a service called Student Loan Xpress, which is classified as a preferred lender[1] at Columbia, a clear conflict of interest.
Charlow has been suspended and is under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's office.
Other financial aid directors at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Southern California are also involved.
