  • Lawrence A. Wien contributes shitloads of money to Columbia, leading to the renaming of Johnson Hall as Wien Hall in his honor, as well as the construction of Lawrence A. Wien Stadium to replace the rickety wooden football stands at Baker Field
  • Morris Schapiro agrees to contribute funds for the construction of Schapiro Hall
