The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is the largest municipal police force in the world. Slang names may include the fuzz and the popo. Local police officers are believed to especially enjoy food from Columbia Cottage. On the other hand, they tend to dislike underage drinking, parking violations, and hippies.

The NYPD beat the shit out of protesting Columbia students during the 1968 protests.
