Stephen Jay Gould
Stephen Jay Gould PhD '67 was the author of The Mismeasure of Man, a controversial critique of IQ testing. He completed his graduate work at Columbia under the guidance of Norman Newell. Upon graduation, he promptly accepted a position at Harvard.
