Intro

Egad, what happened here? The intro is now highly redundant and makes it hard to find why Russell is significant. I propose this instead:

James Robert Russell CC '74 (1953 - ) is a professor of Armenian Studies at Harvard. A distinguished alumnus of Columbia College, he is undoubtedly one of the foremost scholars of Armenian history and culture in the world. Despite this, Russell has been repeatedly denied tenure by Columbia's MEALAC department, probably for political reasons. While at Harvard, Russell has nevertheless fought to introduce a Great Books curriculum, in the model of Coulmbia's Core.
