West Hall was a building located roughly where Dodge Hall is today. It was part of the Bloomingdale Insane Asylum's main complex. When Columbia moved to the site it made use of the building for a few years before demolishing it. It housed a number of offices and student group space, including the Philolexian Society and the Spectator. It can still be seen in early drawings and pictures of the campus.
