A famous Fed cartoon, in which The Man (in this case the Columbia administration) is screwing an innocent member of society (a Columbia student).
See also Wikipedia's article about "The Man".

The Man is a fictional personification of the "establishment" that supposedly suppresses various minority groups. The term may also at times be used as a synonym for the administration, "oppressors", white people, or corporations. For example, students who go off to work in investment banking upon graduation are said to go work for The Man.

"Stick it to The Man!" is a common refrain among leftists.

Some contrarians on campus embrace the concept of The Man and even like to think of themselves as The Man. Such people tend to be members of the College Republicans or C4, and the left-wing majority on campus would say they need anti-oppression training.
