Janaki Bakhle
Janaki Bakhle PhD '02 is a professor of Indian history. A former graduate student at Columbia working under, among others, Edward Said, Partha Chatterjee, and Ayesha Jalal, she now teaches the popular course Gandhi's India.
She is married to professor/administrator Nick Dirks.
