The Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health offers the soft, policy version of the Medical School (it's comparable to the med school in much the same way SIPA is to the Law School). The unique thing about Columbia's school is that it offers the opportunity to perform global health related externships abroad, which may make that masters slightly more lucrative than it would be normally.
