David Rothman CC '58 is a medical historian affiliated both with the History Department and the Medical School. He is officially the Bernard Schoenberg Professor of Social Medicine and Professor of History, the Director of the Center for the Study of Society and Medicine, and the Director of the Center for Medicine as a Profession. He earned his PhD from Harvard in 1964.
