Seth Low Junior College was a Columbia-created 2 year community college located in Brooklyn. It was designed to serve as a way to reduce the number of children of Jewish immigrants on the Morningside Heights campus. Essentially, once the University had accepted its quota of Jewish kids, the remainder were shunted off to SLJC. The school folded in 1939 after CUNY-affiliated community colleges opened in Brooklyn; it would morph into the School of General Studies.

It was named for Columbia President Seth Low.
