The Edward Sutliff Brainard Memorial Prize is awarded annually to the member of the graduating Columbia College class who is judged by classmates to be most worthy of distinction for qualities of mind and character. It was established by Miss Phebe Sutliff in memory of her nephew, Edward Brainard Sutliff CC 1921, in 1920.
