About

CU Bellydance is a group of students dedicated to sharing and exploring the art of Middle Eastern dance. Founded in 2007, the club performs traditional Egyptian, Turkish, American Cabaret, and Tribal Fusion styles.

The troupe has collaborated with such respected dance artists as Kaeshi Chai, Hannah Nour, Ranya Renee, Darshan, and Tarik Sultan, and is the host of the annual Inter-collegiate Middle Eastern Dance Conference, which brings together college bellydance troupes from around the North East region for a weekend of dance instruction and performance.
