Pi Kappa Alpha
Pi Kappa Alpha, also known as Pike, is a fraternity whose house is located at 536 W 114th St. The house is primarily known for its annual beach party. A 2010 New York Post article compared the chapter to that portrayed in the film "Animal House"; it also has been in the news for involvement with Operation Ivy League. The brothers also have a reputation for being pushy with women (i.e. rufees). Currently the chapter is on social suspension due to a number of alcohol and disciplinary violations.
Allen Ginsberg briefly lived in the fraternity's current house before the organization moved in.
