Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is an affinity group for Hispanic-identifying engineers. The group is a chapter of the larger national organization and is recognized under ABC. Students in the group pronounce the name ship-y, though Dean Peña-Mora insists it's pronounced ship.
