The Columbia College Fund (commonly just called the College Fund) is the annual fund of Columbia College. Fundraisers from Columbia College Alumni Affairs and Development raise money each year for the Fund, which helps cover annual operating expenses for the College, from financial aid to internships and support for the Core Curriculum.

Like all annual funds, the College Fund is separate from the university's endowment. Think of the Fund as the checking account for the College--if alumni don't donate to the College Fund, it will eventually run out. Thankfully, alumni do donate (somewhere to the tune of tens of millions of dollars annually). However, the College's operating costs increase practically every year, so it's safe to say fundraising is alive and well within CC.

As of 2012, donations to the Columbia College Fund are also considered donations to The Columbia Campaign.
