The Campus Life Committee is a standing subcommittee of the Columbia College Student Council. The committee is overseen by the Vice-President for Campus Life and is responsible for planning the campus activities for Columbia College.

History

The precursor to the Campus Life Committee was King's Crown until the committee was institutionalized under CCSC during the presidency of Michael Novielli. Since that time, the committee has been tasked with creating and planning all of the school-wide traditions, such as the Tree Lighting Ceremony, College Days (which includes King's Ball), and several others.

Since its inception in 2004, the committee has worked with the Student Life Committee of the Engineering Student Council (ESC) on planning of events, since the events are designed to be for all undergraduates, not just Columbia College students.
