Digital Humanities Center
The Digital Humanities Center (DHC; formerly the Electronic Text Service) is the sub-library in Butler with all the fucking scanners and shit. This includes archiving software, media editing software, and book-to-text devices. Located at 305 Butler Library, the DHC provides extensive services to support researchers in the humanities working with digital texts, still and moving images, and other materials. As of spring 2013, it is allegedly in the midst of a modernization project.
Butler reference service is offered at this desk from 11:00 to 1:00 on weekdays except during spring break and intersession. You can call them at 212-854-7547 during open hours to reserve scanners and digital video editing machines.
