McAC: making Barnard traditions happen!

Mission

McAC seeks to enhance the sense of community on Barnard’s campus by planning events that are enjoyable, innovative, and diverse for the students.

Description

McAC is Barnard College’s Activities Council. We plan some of your favorite traditions on campus including Big Sub, Midnight Breakfast, the Emily Gregory Dinner, and we work with SGA to put together Spirit Week! Each committee plans many of other great events throughout the semester.

General Information

Named after Millicent McIntosh, the fourth President of Barnard College, the McIntosh Activities Council (abbreviated as McAC and pronounced mack-ack) is the student events planning board of the college. McAC’s mission statement is to enhance the sense of community on Barnard’s campus by planning events that are enjoyable, innovative, and diverse for the students.
