Academic Recreations was a student publication that came out in 1815. The third known student publication in Columbia history, it was notable for being the first to be printed (as opposed to being a manuscript) and the first to be of any substance. Though Academic Recreations was only published for one semester by the Peithologian Society, its members wrote over two hundred pages of essays and poetry.
