Sal and Carmine Pizza
Sal and Carmine Pizza is an Italian restaurant renowned for its pizza on Broadway between 101st and 102nd Sts. They don't deliver and they don't take credit cards. But the thin, crisp crust and fresh cheese are worth the trip.
The restaurant offers pizza perfection, the Platonic New York slice. It's a classic hole-in-the-wall pizza parlor, lovingly managed by two grumpy brothers who haven't shared a kind word since 1959.
