See also Lydia Goehr's entry in Columbia's directory.

Lydia Goehr (surname pronounced like "Goethe" without the -teh sound) is a popular philosophy professor known for her sass and the quality of her teaching. In 2005, she received a Columbia University Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching and in 2008 was a recipient of GSAC's Faculty Mentoring Award. This, despite the fact that in her emails she refers to a certain internet site as "wicked wikopedia". Her classes often incorporate material by Arthur Danto.
