Free Culture @ Columbia was an anti-copyright group, which opposed the RIAA and MPAA's attempts to curb file sharing.

It was founded by Brendan Ballou and Rajesh Ramakrishnan in 2007.

Among its activities were the development of CU-LATOR, a Mac-based utility that blocks oversight of student internet use, and the distribution of flash drives with Core Curriculum texts[1].
