Senior regroup is the process by which senior-only groups in Group Suite Selection who were previously unable to select housing they wanted get a second shot at selecting a suite.

Senior regroup takes place once all 30-point groups have selected in Group Suite Selection.

Eligible seniors go to John Jay lounge to:

  • form new groups
  • receive a new temporary lottery number
  • pick a suite in order of their temporary lottery number

Seniors who don't select a suite default back into General Selection with their original lottery number.

Barnard students are not eligible for senior regroup, and will default to BC Selection in the event that CC/SEAS students from their group participate in senior regroup.
