Ginger Trees refers to the two trees between Lerner Hall and Pulitzer Hall. These trees have been featured on Bwog as the most Instagrammed location on campus. While captivating during the warmer months, these trees appear no different from any other trees in the winter.

History of the Ginger Trees

Columbia acquired these two new trees during the Fall of 2013 when they mysteriously appeared, fully grown in their very gingery glory. Soon after, the trees began interacting with students in the form of a sassy Twitter account. Also noteworthy are the selfies of the Ginger Trees on its account.
