The Committee on Science Instruction is responsible for all matters relating to the science requirement and providing leadership on matters related to undergraduate science education. It is somewhat associated with the University Senate. It has one student representative.

Things the CoSI has done

  • Allow students in SEAS to pass/fail non-technical requirements
  • Drop the pre-professional requirement for SEAS
  • Recommended the elimination of the lecture component for Frontiers of Science
