Havemeyer Hall

Havemeyer Hall is the home of the Chemistry Department.
Room 309, the Grand Lecture Hall is considered the "signature architectural feature" of Charles Follen McKim's original six building campus.[1] The lecture hall features features a 40-foot domed ceiling, 330 tiered seats, brass railed gallery, and a 40-foot oak demonstration table. The lecture hall has been featured in a number of films. Undergraduates have been known to sleep through General Chemistry lectures in the gallery of the lecture hall.
