• Columbia Club for alumni founded in Midtown
• Foundation of the Columbia Law Review
• Columbia joins the Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League as a founding member, in which it would play four now-Ivy League schools (Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale) until the formal establishment of the Ivy League in the 1950s
