- 1968 - 1968 protests ongoing. Black students eject whites from Hamilton Hall, who then occupy President Grayson Kirk's office in Low Library. Dean Henry Coleman is released from captivity and negotiations are launched, but black students in Hamilton reject any compromises. Avery Hall is occupied by the end of the day.
