Columbia Aces
Columbia Aces, or ColumbiAces, is an asexual and aromantic community group at Columbia University. Seeing a lack of asexual and aromantic visibility on campus, this group was formed in the summer of 2020 in order to provide a supportive environment for ace and aro people. The members of ColumbiAces have hosted weekly general body meetings consisting of discussions, game nights, and other bonding activities. Larger events for Ace Week and Aro Week are hosted annually, usually in collaboration with other LGBTQIA+ clubs on campus. The group was officially recognized in the Spring of 2022 by the Student Governing Board.
